Wig-Wag-Tops

neben den Hohlperlen hab' ich einige Wig-Wag-Experimente gemacht. Auch die wollten verarbeitet werden, also schuf ich kurzum ein paar tops daraus:

à part les perles j'ai aussi fait quelques essays de wig-wag. bien sur il fallait aussi en faire quelque chose, alors j'ai crée des dessus de bague:

beside the hollow beads i experiomete with wig-wags. of course they also had to be turned in somthing wearable. so i made some ring-tops:

und weiter geht's mit den tollen Hohlperlen von Iris. ich habe auch mit selbstgezogenen Murrini ausprobiert...

Hohlperlen - Perles creuses - Hollow Beads

Am 09. / 10.02. war Mann an einem Hohlperlenkurs bei Iris. Ich konnte leider nicht dabei sein, weil ich es verhängt hatte uns rechtzeitig anzumelden und füür mich dann kein Platz mer war... :-(
an diesem Kurs lernte er wie diese fantastischen Perlen von Iris gemacht werden, Hier seine ersten Versuche:

le 09 et 10 février mon homme a pris un cours chez Iris pour faire des perles creuses. je n'y ai pas participé, parce que je nous ai inscrit trop tard et il ne restait plus qu'une place... :-(
il a appris à faire ces perles fantastique de iris et voici ses premiers essays:

Dann, am Wochenende darauf, durfte ich in einer "Privat-Lektion" lernen wie man solche Perlen macht und natürlich musste ich es sofort auch ausprobieren, hier also meine ersten zwei Versuche:

es macht riesig Spass diese Perlen zu machen, es eröffnen sich unendliche Möglichkeiten! obwohl ich noch viel üben muss gefallen mir meine "erstlinge" schon recht gut...

je me suis beaucoup amusé à faire ces perles, même s'il faut encore que je m'exerce beaucoup j'aime bien mes "premières"...
un grand merci a Daniela pour l'organisation de ce cours, la prochaine fois je serais plus vite pour m'inscrire... ;-))

it was big fun to make these hollows and despite I have to work a lot on it I like this "first ones" ...

zur Feier des Tages gibt ein paar Perlenherzen. ich habe mich mal wieder in off-mandrel geübt, was mir ja noch nicht so gut gelingt... aber diese kleinen schauen schon recht gut aus:

pour l'occasion j'ai fait quelques perles en forme de coeur. je me suis exercée a travailer sans mandrin, ce qui n'est pas ma partie forte... mais ces petit coeur on pas l'air si mal:

For today I show you some glass hearts. I worked off mandrel, which is a technique I am not very good at yet... however this little hearts look pretty good:

Vorbrand à la Suisse - Déliantage façon Suisse - Firing schedule "Swiss-style"

Ich versuche ja meine Metalclaybrände möglichst zu vereinheitlichen, damit ich allenfalls Stücke aus Clays verschiedener Hersteller zusammen brennen kann, um nicht jedesmal einen separaten Brand machen zu müssen.
einerseits habe ich das schon damit erreicht, das ich Jéremy's von Météor Clay Vorbrand-Methode im Backofen bei 280°C anwende (siehe hier). meinen Backofen kann ich aber schlecht an einen auswärtigen Kurs mitnehmen, also überlegte ich, wie ich es an besten und kostengünstigsten machen könnte. beim herum bummeln in der Haushaltgeräteabteilung stürchelte ich über einen kleinen Raclette-Ofen... nun, das ist doch fast dasselbe wie die Grillfunktion im grossen Ofen, also könnte das mit dem Vorbrand doch funktionieren. Gesagt getan, ich probierte aus! und so sah das dann aus:

j'essaye de standardiser mes cuissons de pâtes de métal pour pouvoir cuire des pieces de differents producteurs de pâtes ensemble, sans être obligée de faire des cuissons séparée pour chaque.
j'y suis déjà parvenue en déliantant avec mon four domestic, comme le propose Jérémy de Météor Clay (voir ici). mais je ne peux pas prendre mon four domestic avec moi, si je donne des cours à l'exterieur, donc j'ai cherché une solution pratique et économique. en flânant au rayon electroménager je suis tombée sur un petit four à raclette... je me suis donc dit que la résistance de ce petit four n'était as si differente de celle du four domestic et j'ai tenté le coup:

i try to standardize my firing schedules to be able to fire different Clay brands together. so I don't have to make different firings for each type of clay.
I usually use the pre-firing schedule that suggest Jérémy from Météor Clay (read here). i can't take my kitchen oven to classes on site, so i searched for an economical and practicable way. strolling throug the electro division in the mall i fell over a small  "raclette-oven". I thougt that there isn't a big differenc between the grill function of my kitchen oven and that little Raclette-oven. so I tried it:

Bague en bronze au déliantage, on voit bien la couleur noire qui indique la combustion du liant organique.

Erster Markt - Premier marché - First market

Am 06.12.2012 war Chlausmarkt am Strickhof in Lindau. Als ehemalige Schülerin wollte ich gerne dort dabei sein und kriegte tatsächlich einen Marktstand. :-)
Obwohl es schneite und recht kalt war, haben wir den Abend ohne allzu grosses Frieren gut überstanden. es war wirklich ganz toll und es hat uns sehr gefallen. wir haben sogar einige Kleinigkeiten verkauft, was uns natürlich sehr stolz macht. ;-)

Le 06.12.2012 le marché de St. Nicolas du Strickhof a Lindau a eu lieu. Comme ancienne élève de cette école je souhaitais y participer et par chance nous avons eu droit a une place. :-)
Bien qu'il neigeait et qu'il fesait assez froid nous avons passé une chouette soirée. cela nous a beaucoup plu et nous avons même vendu quelques petites choses, nous en sommes tout fièr. ;-)

there was a santa Claus-Market at the Strickhof in Lindau on the 12/06/2012. As a ancient student of this school I wished to participate to that market and luckily got a place. :-)
although it was snowing and quite cold we had a wonderful time and a lot of fun. we even sold some little pieces an feel quite proud about it. ;-)
